DaVita Home Training Centers – Dialysis Office Buildouts

Expert Building Maintenance completed two DaVita Home Training Center buildouts, with locations in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Green Bay, Wisconsin. These projects transformed existing spaces into fully functional dialysis training centers designed to support patients learning how to manage dialysis treatment in a safe, professional healthcare setting.

Our scope included a full interior buildout with new flooring, wall protection, paint, ceilings, lighting, cabinetry, countertops, doors, and finishes throughout the offices and treatment areas. In addition to the standard renovation work, these projects required specialized construction for dialysis use, including plumbing and electrical connections for dialysis machines, in-ground patient scales, and upgraded HVAC systems for the dialysis rooms.

Because these were active healthcare environments, our team worked carefully to meet the technical needs of the space while keeping patient safety, code compliance, and long-term durability in mind. Each buildout required close coordination with DaVita's team to make sure the finished centers were practical, clean, and ready for daily use.
